TERRITORY & CULTURE
Urbino was a focal center of the Italian Renaissance,
ruled from 1444 to 1482 by Duke Federico, one of the greatest Italian princes of the time: a renowned leader and a cultured patron of arts.
As a matter of fact, he alternated military campaigns with a striking career as a statesman. He commissioned the construction of the Ducal Palace and protected the most important artists of the time, such as
Paolo Uccello, Luca della Robbia, Leon Battista Alberti and Piero della Francesca, as well as numerous sculptors and architects involved in the work at his palace.
Raffaello Sanzio
Urbino, 28 marzo 1483 - Rome, 6 April 1520
Italian painter and sculptor, one of the most famous in the Italian Renaissance.

our production activity has grown and has expanded with the sale of fodder around the world, without ever giving up the
